The Salty Mermaid Oceanfront Hotel

I recently stayed at the Salty Mermaid with my best friend. We have been loving the beach together for 35 years and have stayed at many places, many different beaches. Salty mermaid is in my top 3! The room was lovely, very nicely decorated and very clean! The view was absolutely beautiful and we could enjoy it from our room, or the lovely yard area between our room and the beach. They even provided coffee to be sipped while the sun came up. The staff was as kind and friendly as any I've ever met. We spent a perfect couple days on the beach, enjoyed nearby restaurants, watched a movie when we got back to the room, and then had a great night's sleep, in a very cool room, on a comfortable bed, with the best pillows! I would rate this stay at the beach a 10 out of 10!

Stayed here last year and planning to go back VERY soon. I loved this place. So cute and just a comfortable quiet place to stay. Walk out the door & your on the beach. Everything you need is close by. Wish they had a monthly rental price deal, I would def become a snow bird. We named the turtle side eye!

Very quaint, cozy place. Small, only 5 rooms. Rooms are quiet and clean. Off the main street, so it's quiet. Man the shower was the best hotel shower I have ever seen! The location is great. Just a short walk to Flagler Ave (drink, dine, shop then drink again). Nice ocean view. Rooms are all ground floor and have a covered patio so you can still enjoy the ocean even if it's raining. No staff onsite after 4 or 5 so issues that came up couldnt be dealt with (batteries on TV remote). Not a huge deal but know you are on your own. Building has been there a while so it's an older place but very well kept.

I was looking for a place to stay that spoke to nostalgic Florida. The Salty Mermaid is it! There are only 5 units which makes it so quaint. The rooms open directly to the beach. The rooms are trendy mid century. The location is amazing. Just a short walk the Flagler Ave with tons of restaurants and shopping. Tony & Joes- next door is a great place for breakfast/ lunch or dinner and the outdoor dining deck faces the ocean. The staff at the Salty Mermaid is amazing! Well Done Salty Mermaid. We will be back!

This quaint boutique inn was an unexpected booking for us, but we truly enjoyed our stay. Once you step into the room, you see how someone has taken the time to place furniture and decorations in the best way possible. Our room had more outlets than I've ever seen in any hotel room, and they are well placed, along with the amount of lights throughout the room and the bathroom. Not only are the lights decorative, but functional. The size of the refrigerator, the coffee machine, the amount of cups you get (for coffee and water), the microwave, the coffee machine (and the amount of coffees/hot cocoa/sugar/stir sticks/napkins), and the complimentary bag of ice was way more than I expected, even though the website mentioned the room came with all these amenities. It's obvious the owners have taken the time to renovate the inn and they have done an amazing job. The owner, LIsa, takes the time to call prior to the stay to explain the hotel rules and to get an idea of when you will be arriving to have everything ready for you. This was the best stay I've ever experienced, and the best part is you are just steps away from the beach. The back area of the inn is beautifully adorned with lawn chairs, benches, and an area to eat, plus, each room's patio has two beach chairs and your own small dining area. The inn is so close to local restaurants and shops, you have everything you need within walking distance. This is the perfect boutique inn, and I look forward to returning here to enjoy another stay.

We came for a short stay to celebrate our anniversary and we really enjoyed this room! Though the building is older it's right next to the Lifeguard station on the beach. The room was remodeled and very well done! We can't wait for our next stay here.

Hidden gem! What a great find for a quick getaway. Rooms are cozy for two- clean and well decorated. Comfortable bed. And the best part is you just open your back door and the beach is steps away! We also walked to the popular Flagler Ave where there are plenty of shops, restaurants & cafes. Excellent stay! We will be back!

I have been a patron for many years and can say this place is top notch in accommodating your every need. The rooms are immaculate and you are provided plush linens and comforters. Lisa takes great care in making your stay memorable. The beach is right outside your door and views can not be beat. This place is a rare find and I can't say enough.
